10 on Tuesday - 10 Countries You'd Like to Visit
1. Slovenia: I want to meet my friend Kathy! We've been known each other for more than 10 years but we have never met in person. Plus, Slovenia is such a beautiful country.
2. China: I am passionate about adoption, and sometimes I dream about adopting a baby girl from China.
3. Perú: Machu Picchu. What else can I say?
4. Finland: Midnight sun, people? *sighs*
5. Iceland: Fascinating. Lots of volcanic and glacial activity...geysers, waterfalls...lava fields!
6. Costa Rica: 38% of the surface of the country is covered by forests, and 25% of the territory is protected by law. There are lots of wild animals, and the people actually care about preserving them.
7. New Zealand: Biodiversity. I love it. Extraordinary flora and fauna. And what about the ecological islands?
8. Australia: More or less for the same reasons as New Zealand, and the Australia Zoo! I hate zoos, but I fantasize about this one really being a haven for captive animals.
9. Florida, US: I've been to the US before, and I've been in Florida for plane stop-overs before. I'd love, love, love to visit Disney World. I would take my niece with me, and it would be an amazing experience for both of us. I would totally go back to being a kid again. Everytime I see that TV commercial with the little girl looking in awe at Cinderella, I see my niece in her. I have to admit, that I see a little of myself in her too.
10. Alaska: Anywhere remote in Alaska, with only white sights around me. Ahh! *sighs*
There are lots of other places I'd love to visit, like Jamaica and Africa, Italy and France but the ones abover are the top ten. I am mostly inclined to visit countries with a rich biodiversity. I love nature, and I love animals.
Now, can someone tell me how the heck am I going to get to those places if I can't get over my fear of flying?
Check out: 10 on Tuesday!
