Late night musings
You know those vehicle tracking devices? Well, I wish there were some human tracking devices. Haha! If it only were that easy, huh? Who do I want to track? Take a guess. Ok, now, enough!
Today was one of those weird days. We kind of partied way too hard last night, stayed up until almost 9 AM, went to sleep and woke up many hours later. I woke up around 5:30 PM, the husband around 7 PM. I wanted to go out, but he was way too hungover to do that, or so he says. Of course, I was beyond frustrated but whatever.
We ordered Chinese later on, and I have to mention how yummy those sour-spicy soups at Jade (one of the main Chinese places here) are. I'm thankful of the delivery services in this country. They will deliver anything to your door, ANYTHING! Even your prescribed meds. In Puerto Rico, we don't have that.
A funny moment last night was when this Dominican dude was imitating our Puerto Rican accent. I laughed really hard and was in denial, as I couldn't believe that's the way we talk. I asked other Dominicans if it's true that we talk that way or if he was just making fun of us, but the general consensus was that yes, we do speak that way. Apparently, we have a "sung-accent". When we talk is like we're singing. Cool, huh?
It's past 2 AM now, and I am not sleepy at all. Rocco wants my attention. This dog is very smart, but I'm not really into playing right now. I guess I'll watch a movie...or something.
