I've been downloading movies non stop lately. I wish I had a plasma mount and a plasma as a matter of fact, to watch them all. But I'm broke and I don't care. I hope you all have a good night. I will try to have a good night myself!
I am doing the dishes. I hate doing the dishes. Especially so when there are at least three weeks worth of dirty dishes in that sink (and actually all around the kitchen). I've divided the work in rounds. The dishes are divided into three rounds of washing, and then there's cleaning the pots, the counters, the oven and the microwave, and then the cabinets, the sink and the faucet. I should be done in about two hours.
I am done with my swimwear for this summer season. I've got two bathing suits: both in my favorite colors and in styles that fit my body shape. I LOVE going to the beach! I've been going there at least once a week. I am so dark because of that! Nothing beats a natural tan.
My old cable modem would only connect through a USB cable. Then I got the MacBook and it wouldn't allow an Internet connection through USB. So I had to go to the Internet company and request an exchange so I could connect my new computer using a CAT5e (right?) network cable. I got a bigger modem but it was ok, I don't care. I just want my Internet connection. But, I'm not sure I like the fact that Internet connection to a MacBook is limited to network cables and/or wireless access points.
What's the deal with golf being so popular these days? It seems that playing golf equals prestige or something. I find it so boring! You can see the "wannabes" (Puerto Rican med students) at the Dominican Republic heading out with their gear to play Ping Golf at the many golf courses available in Santo Domingo.
I wish I had more shoes, but I have only what I need. That is except with Crocs. I've heard Crocs are the "anti-shoe" but I love them. I love them so much I have three pairs: the Baya in Cotton Candy (or light pink), the Alice model in brown, and the Mary Jane in army green. I love platforms shoes too; they make me look even taller and they go great with skinny jeans or any other type of jeans as a matter of fact! I wish I had more shoes, but I always fall in love with very expensive models that are way out of my league. These Merrell shoes look awfully comfortable which is what I'm looking for lately. Hence the Crocs addiction.
I don't have a kid. Heck, I don't even know if I ever want one. But I love my niece and nephew very much. I want them to be healthy, and protected, and I want them to have a good life and not be as messed up as their aunt is. I was reading about child life insurance and I thought is a good idea because children's life insurance provides a financial head start for a child by accumulating cash value that can later be used for college or in the event of a medical emergency. I am going to talk to my sister and brother about this.

I'm thinking that I still want a Windows PC. Not to replace my MacBook, but just to have it around in case of whatever. In the following months I'll try to get a desktop computer that I will leave here at my mother's home to work at. She can use it also to do her stuff. Right now there are some pretty nice offers for desktop computers. A friend of mine can get me a very nice model for only $325. I just need to find a lcd monitor. There are other offers than include the monitor but the specifications of the model are not as good. I want the cheaper option as my main computer will be the MacBook. I would even buy an used one if I find a right deal. The new PCs all have Vista and I'm not much of a fan.
