This post is about gay travel. No, not really. But if you care about that, you can check out the website.
My friend Jessica is now selling a new diet pill. She claims it's the best weight loss pill ever and that it works. Of course I was tempted but I know better.
Lately, I've been on a buying binge. It's not like I am spending lots of money though as most things are on sale. I suppose it's because I rarely bought anything in the Dominican Republic (except for groceries) so I am making up for it. Oh, and I've been MIA because I am in PR with no Internet connection.
A tv stand is very practical when you have little space, like I do at the bedroom. I think, though, that I shouldn't be wasting any more money when my husband will be out of here for good in less than five months.
Today is "No Housework Day." Tell us: What's your least favorite chore around the house?
Really?
Ok. I hate doing the dishes. I want a dishwasher machine. They're rare in Puerto Rico and even rarer here.
Inspired by this by Sixbucksamonkey I decided to share this Mutts strip that I had saved in my inbox:
If you were sent to prison for an undefined amount of time, what would you miss most?
Sponsored by “Inside Guantanamo” on National Geographic Channel. Premieres Sunday at 9P et/pt.
I think most people would answer the same:
my family (husband, mom, dad, brother, sister, niece and nephew) and my dog (Rocco).
I still miss Kiri every day.
If money didn't matter, what job would you most like to have?
Submitted by Rainbird. Not that I have a job now to compare, but if money didn't matter I would really like to run a no-kill animal shelter someday.
I was tempted to say dancer, but the issue here is money not skills. If skills didn't matter, I would have loved to be a dancer.
I don't like going down the Máximo Gómez avenue because I usually see horse carriages going up and down the street. Some of these carriages are intended for tourists (I have never seen someone using them apart from the rider) and some are meant to transport vegetables and fruits. Huge quantities of vegetables and fruits. The horses break my heart. They are skin and bones and they work hard. What a life for these poor horses! I wish animal activists were more proactive here. Where do these horses live? What do they eat? Where do they come from?
