I had a good day.
Now that my sister is working at Zales, I thought she would get me a gold chain or something. But no, she got me a nice watch bracelet. My father gave me money, and so did the in-laws. My husband bought me two dresses, a pair of earrings and a bracelet. That's just about it.
It's okay. I only bought gifts for my niece, my nephew, and my husband. All in all, I'm grateful to be in Puerto Rico with my family. That's the best gift ever.
I finally decided on my niece's Christmas present. Check it out! She's going to love it. She's always taking pictures with our cameras and now she'll have her own. This one is great because it can survive drops; it's very durable. It also has a two-eye viewfinder. This cute camera won the 2007 Electronic Entertainment Toy of the Year, for toys that merge high-technology with creativity and imagination. It should be fun. Now I need to find something for the nephew.
I already decided on what to get my husband.
Now I'm hoping someone gets me a Branson vacation! Yeah, right!
I'm excited. 'Tis the season!
Something has been wrong with my Internet connection here. I wasn't able to get online for the past few days. Something wrong with the fiber optic cables, maybe? I don't know. But it's been working better since last night.
I am looking for Christmas gifts for my niece and nephew. I definitely want a digital camera for my niece (there are lots designed for kids, but they're so expensive!) and maybe Legos for my nephew, or anything that has to do with a motorcycle (that's his current obsession).
Right now, I'm not liking eBay that much. It's hard to find any real deals there. With shipping, products cost as much as if you bought them at any other web site. If you know about any web sites with real deals and affordable pricing, please let me know ASAP. Time is running out!
Happy Thanksgiving, people!
Christmas is right around the corner! I'm already thinking about gifts. I wonder what I'll get. I kind of know what I'm giving. The last couple of years, Christmas has been a little sad for me in terms of gifts. What? It doesn't matter if I'm a grown up, I still want Santa to bring me gifts! After all, I've been a really good girl.
I'd like:
- a MacBook
- an external hard drive
- an iPod nano
- new clothes
- new shoes
- a Weight Watchers Online membership
- gift cards to all possible restaurants (see above)
- new purses
- a job
- etc.
Am I asking for too much? *LOL* Nah, I'm only kidding! I mean, of course I'd love those things but they're not priority at all. I don't care if I have them or not. I can't even work here in the Dominican Republic so that will have to wait until I'm back home for good. There are things I really, really want. Things that you just can't touch, if you know what I mean. But I won't get into that on this post.
OMG, check out this christmas mugs! So cute! Perfect gifts for the holidays, huh? I remember my mother used to collect mugs, until one day she got tired of them and sold them all in a flea market. She now has like two mugs left.
Sometimes I wish I could spend the Christmas season somewhere cold. With snow, a fireplace, and hot chocolate. I am looking forward to the Puerto Rican way of celebrating though.
I am happy because I am going home soon.
I've always been a gamer type of gal. Not hardcore, but I enjoy my games. Right now I'm mostly a PC gamer because I don't have any video game console. Well, I do have a PSP but it is broken and I never really got the chance to play it. It was my brother's. P is a hardcore gamer, he won't stop playing a game until it's finished. It can be annoying, but at the same time I like that he's so good at it. His PS2 got stolen in this country a few years ago, so he's settled for PC games too. Ever since it came out, he has been wanting an xbox 360. For now, it is only a dream but it would make a great Christmas gift, don't you think? Not only for him, but for both of us!!
